The Freedom Band marched in the Thirteenth Annual “How Berkeley Can You Be!?” Parade on Sunday, September 28, 2008. We were well cheered by a crowd of over 15,000 people at this celebration of many kinds of diversity.  We enjoyed ourselves taking this fun march up University Avenue.

The Freedom Band Celebrates Same-Sex Marriage

On June 16, 2008 at 5pm the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band made an impromptu march to the steps of City Hall in San Francisco to celebrate the return of Single-Sex Marriage to California. Many band members were wed in the 2004 San Francisco-only ceremonies.
